These past few days, Post has been abuzz with more than the usual activities. Scores of Filipino workers intending to spend the holidays in the Philippines have been rushing to the Embassy to file their application for the Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) that will allow them to get through Immigration authorities at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport upon their return to Japan.

OFWs who have plans to go home to the Philippines during the holidays may download the Balik-Manggagawa (OEC Application Form) Information Sheet from this site (click the link at the upper right hand corner of the home page), fill up the form and submit to the POLO together with the all required documents.

OFWs who have changed employer since the last OEC application are required to submit their employment contract, passport, letter of guarantee and letter of justification from the employer and copy of the employer’s passport.

From December 1-20, POLO Tokyo has attended to the request of some five hundred sixteen (516) Filipinos applying for Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) to facilitate their return to Japan after the Christmas holidays in the Philippines.
